"The blue sky is beautiful, a full stomach feels good." ~ Harachika Noguchi Yuki is a 'side art' to our aikido practice. Yuki incoroprates various diagnostic and theraputic movements including taiso, a gentle yoga like series of movements, kiatsu, or pressing with Ki, and kokyu, breath work, in order to cultivate health. Yuki, like qi gong, or yoga, is a way to stimulate health internally. Yuki is incorporated seamlessly into our daily aikido warmups and practice, increasing flexibility, balance, endurance, and coordination. Yuki can be practiced by anyone. For those wishing to look more deeply at Yuki, private lessons for groups and individuals can be made by appointment.
